San Francisco 49ers fans may have their eyes on Kyle Juszczyk this season, but fashion fans will also be scouting out his wife on the sidelines.
Kristin Juszczyk went viral last season for her DIY fashion, whipping up patchwork pieces that paid homage not only to her husband and his career — her Super Bowl bomber jacket was a particular standout — but also the 49ers as a whole.
The custom designs quickly caught the eyes of other WAGs, like Olivia Culpo (who is married to Niners running back Christian McCaffrey), Simone Biles (whose husband is Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens) and, eventually, Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes.
She forged a partnership with the NFL, too, landing a licensing deal with the league in January. And while those pieces have yet to be revealed, she recently teamed up with Gatorade to design a limited-edition towel, bag and water bottle, which will be available to shop on Sept. 12.
“The Gatorade x Kristin Juszczyk Limited-Edition Drop collaboration was a really exciting chance for me to stretch my skills and bring my signature style to a Gatorade iD Drop,” she tells Page Six Style exclusively ahead of the launch.
“These drops usually include the brand’s iconic sideline towels and bottles – which were both so nostalgic for me – and that gave me a chance to reimagine something besides clothing.”
Added Juszczyk, “I also wanted to create a universal accessory that would showcase my patchwork design style and celebrate inclusivity in football, which is how the custom duffle bag came about.”
So what can fans expect from the reigning queen of sideline style for the 2024 season? More of the same — but amped up a few notches, she tells us.
And, while she calls herself a “natural procrastinator at heart,” Juszczyk has been working overtime during the off-season.
“I treated August as my own personal sewing camp – Kyle was in training camp and I was doing the same for my craft by trying to get as many looks prepped as possible,” she says of her preparation.
