Throughout his rookie contract (from 2019-2023), Allen earned a total of $33,674,951 through salary, signing bonuses and incentives. Of course, taxes took away a chunk of that, but it was a great start for the former Kentucky Wildcat.
Once his rookie contract ran out, the Jaguars placed the franchise tag on Allen, which would have locked him into a $24 million salary for the 2024 season. Instead, Allen will now be making approximately $30 million per season ($150 million over five years in total).
Allen also makes some money on the side through endorsements, including Smoothie King.
Allen has done more than enough to warrant his massive pay raise. He hit the ground running as a rookie then had a huge 2023 season.
