Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor ensures some area families have a Thanksgiving meal.
Taylor handed out free turkeys on Tuesday at the Redemptorist Center on Linwood Boulevard.
He says it’s in his blood to give back.
“I always was taught to never forget where you come from, so being able to give back to the community is just amazing to me,” Taylor said. “I like to make a positive impact everywhere I go, so this is definitely fun and something good to do.”
Taylor is in the middle of his first season with the Chiefs.
He joined Kansas City after being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.
