The San Francisco 49ers running back last played in the Super Bowl in February, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Having been removed from injury reserve and cleared to return, McCaffrey geared up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their ninth game of the season.

In a video posted on her TikTok, the model revealed her nerves as she prepared to cheer for McCaffrey.

‘Let’s get ready for Christian’s first game back. I am so nervous,’ Culpo said. ‘We’re in Charlotte right now. We’re going to go from Charlotte to Tampa, straight to the game.’

‘Then after the game, I’m flying from Tampa to L.A., so it’s gonna be a long day of travel,’ she added.

Culpo also quipped about her outfit of choice for the game in Tampa Bay.

‘I’m going to wear a sporty, casual, easy outfit,’ she joked. ‘Go sports! … Let’s do this.’

The 49ers went on to win, 23-20, with kicker Jake Moody scoring a 44-yarder to seal the victory. The win improved San Francisco’s record to 5-4.

McCaffrey had 13 carries for 39 yards in his first game back.

The power couple married in the offseason after getting engaged in April 2023. They have been dating for four years before tying the knot.

The former Stanford star reported to training camp later in the summer and suffered an Achilles injury that kept him sidelined until Sunday.
