13 October 1942, Jerry Jones is is an American businessman and the owner, president, and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

Jerry took over the franchise in 1989 and notched up a handful titles for the Texan side.

Jones became the first owner in NFL history to lead his team to three Super Bowl titles in his first seven years of ownership.

The two met on a blind date during their college years.
