Jason Kelce has been forthright about the fact he was blackout drunk on his first date with his wife Kylie.
Now, we have some more details on what happened that night, thanks to Kelce’s former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen. Allen and Chris Long appeared on “The New Heights Podcast” this week, and the topic of Jason meeting Kylie was discussed.
“Kylie and Jason met on Tinder. So, for like a week or two leading up to you guys meeting, they were like chit-chatting online. Kelce is talking about this girl like ‘I really like this girl, I’ve got to make a good first impression,'” Allen said.
Unfortunately, the pair planned to meet in person for the first time on the same night as the holiday party in Philadelphia, and things “went a little bit sideways,” according to Allen.
“Kelce fell asleep on the bar, like snoozing,” said Allen, who was “slightly surprised” Kylie agreed to go on a second date with the All-Pro center.
Allen, who played for the Eagles from 2014-17, also revealed that he had to carry Kelce out of the bar that night.
“I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, that was physically one of the hardest things I’ve ever done,” Allen said. “That was harder than climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.”
Jason and Kylie have been married since April 2018 and have three children together, so it looks like everything worked out in the end.
