On November 11th I received a report about the pregnant dog who desperately needed help. Little did I know that his story would leave me heartbroken and amazed by his strength.

When I finally arrived at it, my heart sank when I saw the state in which I was found. She was just days away from giving birth, but she had been abandoned in the box with her broken neck. It was clear that he had suffered a violent crime and his small body was covered in signs of absolutism.

In a heartbreaking incident, a pregnant dog found herself abandoned in a garbage dump, facing a dire situation. The poor canine, heavily pregnant and unable to move easily, was left to navigate the challenges of impending motherhood amidst the squalor. Despite her difficult circumstances, the resilient mother-to-be could only express her desperation through silent pleas for help.

As the expecting dog approached the critical moment of giving birth, her instincts for survival kicked in, compelling her to seek assistance. With an uncanny ability to convey her distress, the pregnant dog’s eyes spoke volumes, silently begging for a compassionate soul to intervene and provide the support she so desperately needed.

When I took her to the vet, it became clear that her situation was extremely critical. Their puppies were at risk and we needed to act quickly. The vet suggested that we transfer her to a larger hospital to receive specialized care.

In my arms, he collapsed and could feel his sacred soul deeply. It was clear that we needed to act quickly to save his life. He underwent a blood transfusion immediately and the new veterinarian worked to stabilize him as best as possible.

But despite his best efforts, he still couldn’t move. We could only hope that she would spend the night. Miraculously, the next day, he was little better. But she was still at risk of death.

The vet explained that he needed neck surgery to save his life. However, we had to wait until she gave birth to her puppies. 48 hours after giving birth to 7 puppies, two of them dead. It was clear that Beliha was still in need of feeding the puppies that were left to him and we had to find them in order to kill them alive.

But despite the odds, the puppies she was left with were strong and fought to survive. It was nothing less than a miracle that they were still alive.

Finally, Beliha is ready for her surgery. And luckily, it turned out very well. She would stay in the special room for 72 hours, so she could improve before seeing her puppies.

I can’t thank Protectora Carol enough, who saved Beliha and caught their attention. If she had, we would not have been able to save this brave mother and her cubs.
